Why did I choose to enter the world of Human Resources and Recruitment?
After my second child's birth, it became clear that if I wanted to level up, I needed to step away from the world of administration. Having worked in Recruitment and Human Resources for many years, learning from the ground up being able to take that next step required some soul searching.
They say you should find a job that you enjoy, but what was that? Reflecting, I realised I was always helping friends in their work-related situations. Writing letters, researching laws and facts and getting them through whatever was going on. My future in HR was born.
Deep down, I know that I support the underdog, I gravitate towards doing the right things by people. As I grew, I absorbed the need to think strategically, merge both the business needs and do the right thing for the employees.
